Encourager, passionate, praiser, worshipper, teacher, are some descriptive terms of the life and ministry of Missionary Milena Cuba.
Evangelist Milena Cuba was born in Houston, Texas to the loving parents, Mr. Jean Hus Jean-Baptiste and Mrs. Debie Jean-Baptiste. However, the Lord had other plans for her life, which lead her to move to the lovely town of Oak Ridge, Louisiana as a young girl. She is an honor graduate of Delta High School of Mer Rouge, Louisiana. Evangelist Cuba earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the prestigious Grambling State University. She later earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from University of Louisiana at Monroe. She holds a second Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Evangelist Cuba currently serves as an Elementary School Guidance Counselor in the Calcasieu Parish School System.
Evangelist Milena Cuba accepted her call to ministry under the Late Supt. Roy Simmons, Pastor of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was officially consecrated and licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ via the Fourth Jurisdiction of Arkansas by the late Bishop Wallace Johnson and State Supervisor Ruthell Monk. Because of her humility and servitude, she has served in several capacities within the church: Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Purity Leader, Dance Leader, Area 5 Youth Quake Coordinator.
She now serves with her husband, Pastor Michael Cuba, Jr. as one of the Dance Ministry Facilitators and the Director of Women's Ministries at Saints Cathedral. Missionary Milena Cuba is passionate about souls being saved. She believes in giving to others what was freely given to her---the love of Christ. Above all, she is saved, filled with precious gift of the Holy Ghost, and is a yielded vessel available for the Master's use.
